Lantern slide in color. Image shows a group of men and women kneeling on the shoreline. A man in black has his arms raised toward the sky. Another group of men and women is in a boat just off the shore; two men with their pants rolled up are pushing the boat away from the shore. A label printed in black is applied to one end of the slide and reads, "Departure of Pilgrims - 1620." A label printed in black applied to the other end of the slide reads, "A.D. Handy, Stereopticons & Supplies, 21 Bromfield St., Boston." Handwritten in black ink on this label is "Period 1607-1692."
