Lantern slide in black and white. Image shows two tables of Pilgrims and Native Americans eating a meal. At one table, a man in a black robe stands with one arm raised; he holds a book in his other hand. Two women stand among the tables serving food. A girl hides behind her mother's skirts at right. A house is visible in the background and pumpkins, squash and corn stalks are scattered around the tables. A label handwritten in black is applied to one end of the slide and reads, "First Thanksgiving in New England." A label printed in red applied to the other end of the slide reads, "A.D. Handy, Stereopticons & Supplies, Boston." Handwritten in black ink on this label is "Period 1607-1692."
