Lantern slide in black and white. Image shows a scene from the story of Paul Revere's ride. The slide shows a battle scene. A man at center fills his musket with powder from a powder horn. His son kneels beside him, while a woman tends to a wounded man at left. More soldiers are visible in the background. A label printed in black is applied to one end of the slide and reads, "8. - "How the farmers gave them ball for ball, / From behind each fence and farm-yard wall;" A label printed in black at the other end of the slide reads, "A.D. Handy, Stereopticons & Supplies, 21 Bromfield St., Boston." Handwritten in black ink is "Paul Revere's Ride."
