Lantern slide in black and white. Image shows a scene from the story of Mr. Spurt and His Auto. The slide shows a man and woman riding in their automobile. A boy at left is sitting on a fence and waves his hat at them. Several dogs and chickens run and fly around the auto, some scrambling out of the way, the dogs barking and running alongside. A label printed in black is applied to one end of the slide and reads, "Mr. Spurt and His Auto 3 - And makes a fine start." A label printed in red at the other end of the slide reads, "A.D. Handy, Stereopticons & Supplies, Boston."
