Lantern slide in color. Image shows a scene from the story of the Pied Piper. The slide depicts a landscape with a cave at right and a castle at back left. A man in a plumed hat, wearing a red and yellow striped coat and playing a musical instrument, is walking into the cave followed by a large group of children. A label printed in black at one end of the slide reads, "8. And lo! as [torn] / A wondrous [torn].." A label printed in red is pasted to the other end and reads, "A.D. Handy, Stereopticons and Supplies, Boston."
