Patriotic Order of Americans Annual Session Button. Round button is of metal with paper and plastic coating and has pin backing; button face has central design of two interlocking gold rings with "P", "O", "OF", "A" on rings; a blue "F E" on an open book (possibly bible) inside PR ring and a waving American flag in red, white, and blue inside PL ring; and "PATRIOTIC ORDER / OF / AMERICANS" along outer edge in blue. Attached to button is red, white, and blue striped ribbon which hangs down and has the silver stamped text, "59th / ANNUAL SESSION / [decorative line] / NATIONAL CAMP / P. O. of A. / [decorative line] / ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. / OCT. 17-19 / 1955". Tip cut in chevron shape, with decorative floral design stamped in silver along it. Reverse side of button has round white paper insert with stamped text inside circle: "A. E. BOSTON / 13 / N. 13th ST. / PHILA. 7, PA.".
