Black and white photograph of the officers of Boston's St. John's Lodge for 1953. The men are pictured in a lodge room. Three chairs are visible along the back wall; there is a G at the top center of the photo (on the wall of the room). There is a US flag and a state flag in the back. The front row shows five men sitting in chairs. All wear tuxedos, aprons, and collars with the jewel of their office. Two hold batons and the man in the center holds a gavel. The second row has eight men standing in a row. All wear tuxedos, aprons and collars with the jewel of their office. Four men hold a staff. At bottom right is the photographer's mark, "Alan Lee / 53." Handwritten on the back in blue ink is "Officers of St. John's Lodge, Boston 1953 / Clyde M. Dinsmoor - left end of 2nd row (top)."
