Square-shaped, varnished wood plaque with square and compasses symbol and carved frame. OBVERSE: Solid piece of wood with a relief-carved square and compasses with a "G" in center. Carved wooden frame (beaded moldings) is varnished; ten nail marks visible where attached to artwork. REVERSE: Back of wood carving panel varnished and extends out beyond frame; shows wood grain, tool marks, and nail marks/protrusions around edges. In center of panel is white sticker with the words, "Handcarved / Masonic Symbol by A. W. Lunn / 1918" in black ink.
