Masonic Scottish Rite 33rd Degree Active Jewel for Walter Greenland Africa in Case a: Masonic Scottish Rite 33rd Degree Active jewel with horizontal pin back. Purple ribbon with openwork medallioin. Red Teutonic cross at center of medallion with double-headed eagle. Engraved on the back "Ill. Walter Greenland Africa 33º / Active Member / Supreme Council / Nor. Mas. Jur., U.S.A. / September 19, 1918." b: Folding black leather case with two snap closures on front. Black velvet lining inside case. Gold stamped maker's name inside one flap. Stamped in gold on front, "Raymond H. Chase, 33º."
