Seth Thomas electric banjo style clock; electric cord comes out of bottom (can not be removed)

An engineer by profession, John Paulson, Jr. was also an avid car and clock collector. Likely prompted by his involvement in Scottish Rite Freemasonry, Paulson left his clock collection to the museum. This collection included many clocks from the 1800s and early 1900s, such as this banjo-shaped clock, and other clocks displayed nearby. Paulson enjoyed repairing and working on the clocks in his collection. He also tried his hand at clockmaking, constructing this electrically-powered tall clock in 1970 and 1971.
