Vase with Portraits of SGC McNaughton and SGC Glattly. EXTERIOR: Three-sided stoneware vase has cream color with brown glaze applied in a fine spray around corners, top, and bottom so that each side features an off-white, oval-shaped vignette with a transfer-print image at the center. On one side is the Scottish Rite emblem in black, red, tan, white, and yellow (double-headed eagle topped with crown in red and yellow, a tan delta with "33" at the breast, and a sword gripped in its talons with a tan banner overlaid which bears the text, "DEUS MEUMQUE JUS"); above emblem, in black text, "Northern Masonic Jurisdiction"; below it, also in black, "August 28, 2017". On another side is the image of John W. McNaughton in brown glaze; he wears a flat-topped cap with the Salem cross at center and a vine motif around the bottom, a suit with a bow tie, a collar with an all-seeing eye at its center and a double-headed eagle jewel pendant, and a lapel pin; below the image, in brown, is his signature (PR side), "John W. McNaughton" with a line underneath it, and the artist's signature (PL side) "Travis Simpkins 2016"; below this is the brown text, "Sovereign Grand Commander 2006-2017". On the other side is the image of David A. Glattly in brown glaze; he also wears a flat-topped cap with the Salem cross at center and a vine motif around the bottom, a suit with a bow tie, and a collar with an all-seeing eye at its center and a double-headed eagle jewel pendant; below the image, in brown, is his signature (PR side), "David A. Glattly" with a line underneath it, and the artist's signature (PL side) "Travis Simpkins 2017"; below this is the brown text, "Sovereign Grand Commander 2017". Base plain, unglazed off-white. INTERIOR: Plain, glazed off-white.
