He wears a dark shawl or cape around his neck. He wears dark stockings and black boots. He wears a dark beret style cap. He stands in profile with his arm straight down his side. Handwritten at lower right is "C. 45 / Court Attendant." Applied to the bottom right corner is a red and white label with a red "87" stamp and handwritten inscription "Original / Missing." Handwritten on the back at the upper right is "Keep this / copy original / missing."
