OBVERSE: Collar composed of light pink velvet with green velvet trim all around edge (both likely synthetic) and a strip of textured, gold-colored metallic ribbon in between them. Floral design, composed of gold and silver bullion, is sewn on to both flaps to within 2" of vertical seam at back of neck; at center of design on either side is five-point star with smooth, circular red jewel at center (likely glass). Gold bullion fringe trims outside of collar; gold bullion tassel at tip of PL side (and strings at same place on PR side where tassel is missing). Flaps have rounded outside edges and pointed tips at inside edges. At pointed tips, IOOF symbol of three-link chain, in gold-colored metal, is sewn to PR side with thread and joins to PL side with sewn-on silver-colored metal hook. REVERSE: Green cotton lining sewn on with green thread in quilt style diamond pattern. Across seam at neckline is sewn a black rectangle of silk fabric with embroidered yellow text: "The Ward-Stilson Co. / MFRS. OF SOCIETY GOODS / New London, Ohio." (in cursive except for all-caps line).
