Knights of Pythias magic lantern slide in color mounted in a rectangular wooden frame. The slide depicts a scene from the story of Pythias. The image shows one man kneeling before eight men, including one on a throne. On the bottom of the wooden frame is a white label with black type that reads "No. 3 14792 Knights of Pythias / The Intercession of Pythias." In bold black type to right of label it reads "Selected Subjects." There is a maker's mark etched onto wood on proper right side of slide that reads "Copyrighted 1884 by / William H. Rau."
