William IV appoints Lieutenant-General John Sulivan Wood to replace Lord Frederick Fitz-Clarence as Lieutenant of the Tower of London. William also directs Lord Hill to fill the vacant Lieutenant Governorship of Kinsale. Forms part of the Elwell Autograph Collection.
