Brown leather trunk with metal corners and lock plate; surface designs of brass tacks and embossed leather; interior lined with pink floral print cloth; leather hinges broken and lid attached to trunk only by two straps; lid slightly crushed.


Dr. John Warren (1753-1815), the younger brother of Dr. Joseph Warren and a surgeon for the Continental Army, used this chest.
