Manuscript document signed by George III, dated April 24, 1798 at the Court of St. James (royal court of England); King George III of Great Britain signs a Royal Warrant that permits Monsieur Dutendas to transmit twenty guineas to his wife who resided at Montreuil-sur-Mer (the Pas-de-Calais, France). The warrant refers to the "Act for preventing money or effects in the hands of His Majesty's subjects, belonging to or disposable by persons resident in France."; also signed by the Earl of Portland.
