International Order of Odd Fellows Altar Cloth. Obverse: Altar cloth has black velvet (likely silk) body with designs painted on it in silver paint: an hourglass and scythe at one end, and "IN MEMORIAM" in a slightly arched shape over the three-link chain emblem at the other. Reverse: Red velvet (likely silk) body has designs painted on in gold paint: a heart in hand emblem with three-link chain emblem above it at one end, and "JONATHAN / [three-link chain emblem] / No. 225" at the other. Ends have three rounded points; one end is trimmed with gold cotton fringe.
