Round silver Masonic Royal Arch Mark medal with a hole pierced at top center. On one side, in the center, is an archway between two columns. At top center is a keystone with "G" in the middle. At bottom between the columns are three steps. Letters along the edge of the medal read "HTWSSTKS." On the other side, in the middle, is a signature "John Light." Above is a heart with "JL." Below is a flourish with "1800" inside.
Small emblems like this engraved mark medal could be easily brought along when their owners traveled. This medal traveled, along with an apron and a certificate, when its owner, John Light, a member of Mariner’s Lodge in Liverpool, journeyed from England to America.
