Oval-shaped pitcher ofearthenware with plain, applied handle; brick red glazed transfer-printed side decoration of Masonic "Masters Carpet" symbols in circular medallion and a grapevine-bordered medallion of clasped hands and heart with verse, "Happy the Man whom no vain fears torment who lives at Peace within himself content / for happiness he surely need not roam / Tis easiest found with little and at home"; above a small medallion with sailing ship; the design signed "T. Clarke / Sculp." Beneath the spout is a floral-bordered medallion inscribed "Lodge of Relief / No. 37."
