Oval-shaped pierced openwork silver Mark medal with a loop at top. A section of the top of the medal has broken off. This part has a five-point star, the moon, a mallet and a key. The rest of the medal has a pair of columns with an arch above, a checkered floor, two cherubs with an open book, the letter "G," a square and compass, Euclid's theorem, a coffin, Jacob's ladder, and several other symbols. Details are engraved on the symbols on both sides, but the design is the same on both sides.
