White creamware Masonic pitcher. Black line border at top and bottom. One side shows a tulip above an oval with a monument to George Washington with an eagle and a female mourner. At top and bottom in the border, "Washington in Glory / A Nation in tears." Decoration on the handle and a flower beneath the handle. The other side shows an aster above an oval pastoral scene titled "Rural Pastime." A young man sits with two young women. Below the oval reads "Edwin drawing Cuts with Emma." Under the spout is a Masonic square and compasses with a G in the middle. Above the emblem is a sun with moon and stars to the sides. Below the square is "Amor et Honor." Crossed feathers at the bottom. The emblem is surrounded by a chain with Masonic tools in the links - level, hourglass, square and compasses, trowel, crossed keys, plumb and others.
