a) Wrought iron boot scraper with lead plug attached to one of the scraper's anchors (to secure scraper in stone step). Paper label attached reads "#64 (Ia.) / 7/14/33 / This shoe scraper was / taken from ruins of the cellar / of Henry Price's home at Town- / send. He moved to Townsend about / 1763. / Thomas I. Spidell / June 20, 1933." b) rectangular wrought iron tapered block with grove at top; thought to go with the shoe scraper as a support.
