Transfer-printed Masonic creamware pitcher with painted highlights under the glaze; green painted band around rim; red bands around neck and base and on handle; on one side is print of Masonic symbols: open Bible overlaid with square and compasses, ladder, plumb, sun, moon, stars, three candlestands, crossed keys, beehive, Hope, Justice, and Charity female figures, trowel, bird with sprig, etc.; beneath spout is print showing man in crown (possibly Poseidon) on a chariot driving three horses; on other side is print showing female figure of Hope standing on shore in front of a mill (possibly) and pointing to two British sailing vessels with "Hope / Success to the / Shiping Trade" printed above; band of clouds painted above.
