a: Apron of cream colored silk has square body and rounded flap, both of which have pleated, light blue silk trim. Design is stamped in black ink, on flap is all seeing eye; on body is two columns with three steps and checkerboard floor, surrounded by many Masonic symbols including open bible, sun, moon and stars, five-point star with G, anchor, ladder, beehive, ark, and others. Two handwritten cards are tucked in at bottom corners under glazing; on one at lower PR corner: "Presented to Alvin H. McCune / Member of Denver Lodge #5 by / Mrs. D. A. Cowell April 14th 1922 / and by A. H. McCune left to / A. F. Menter" and on one at lower PL corner: "Masonic Apron worn / by Isaac Cowell at / laying corner stone of / Bunker Hill Monument / Charlestown Mass. 1825 / Presented to his nephew / David A. Cowell. 1882". b: Framed unter glass; ornately carved, gold-painted wood
