Silver Masonic York Rite Royal Arch Hiram Lodge No. 27 mark medal for John Dutcher. Shield-shaped with half-round openwork top. One side shows the owner's mark in the center, a top hat and a mallet or an anvil and hammer. Two circles around the mark, one is a series of Masonic tools and symbols including square and compasses, triangle or delta, plumb, crossed keys, sword, candlestand, level, ark, star, Euclid's 47th problem, trowel, maul and gavel. The next circle has the initials "HTWSSTKS." Floral motifs are engraved in the corners. The other side shows an open book in the center. Engraved in the circle around it is "John Dutcher Hiram Lodge No. 27."
