Sewing or cash box with inlaid Masonic symbols in a variety of materials, including tortoiseshell, ivory and mother of pearl. The symbols include square and compasses, sunburst, crescent moon, and five-point star within a circle. The lid is framed with triple stringing and a border of alternating mother of pearl and tortoiseshell demi-lunes (or half-circles). The top is also inlaid with a blank nameplate. Inside the box is a removable tray.
