Masonic Senior Warden jewel in the shape of a level.

In Freemasonry, the level represents equality. The level is also the emblem of the lodge office of Senior Warden. A Senior Warden’s duties include assisting the lodge aster and presiding over the lodge in his absence. This jewel is thought to have belonged to the Rev. Thaddeus M. Harris (1768-1842), who first took his degrees at King Solomon’s Lodge in Charlestown, Massachusetts, and later affiliated with Union Lodge in Dorchester, Massachusetts. For further information, see Newell, Aimee, et.al., "Curiosities of the Craft: Treasures from the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts Collection", 2013, p. 80-81.
