Double powder horn with silver band at joint; inscribed "DON'T TREAD ON ME / FREEDOM AND VICTORY / JOHN P. FRENCH HIS HORN / CEMENTED WITH LOVE / HIRAM / NOAH'S ARK,"; carved with Masonic symbols, particularly associated with the Royal Arch; also carved with hunting scene; man holding rifle, a dog, mountain lion, bird, and deer.
