This image does not detail many specifics of the historic event it portrays. Entrepreneur Daniel Wright Kellogg, who produced it, started his lithography business in Hartford in the early 1830s. Kellogg sold prints like these to retailers for 6¢ apiece for plain, 10¢ for prints embellished with watercolor.
