Blue and white jacquard coverlet with Masonic symbols. Blue wool and natural cotton. Seamed, with self fringe. Border on two sides of alternating eagles and Masonic columns with square and compasses flanked by monkeys. The border on the third side is composed of eagles and the Capitol flanked by monkeys, the remaining side does not have a border. The field is worked with rose garlands. Text woven in the corners reads, "American Independence Declared July 4, 1776. Wove in 1840 A. Haight."
