Masonic Pitcher; earthenware ceramic with transfer print; inscription, "The World is in pain---"; reverse printed with standard transfer print of Faith, Hope and Charity, Masonic pavement, column and symbols; square, compass and "G" under spout.
Decorated with a Masonic verse and images of Masonic symbols and virtues, this transfer-printed earthenware pitcher is thought to have been used at Union Lodge in Dorchester, Massachusetts.
