White silk Masonic Apron with faded blue silk ruffled border with curved flap. On apron is drawn and hand painted numerous Masonic symbols. Central design has stepped platform with pillars and arch painted in red and yellow. Within archway is from top: sun, open Bible, square and compasses, "H - A" red & black coffin with three candle stands on checkered pavement below. Surrounding central design are numerous symbols of Freemasonry including scythe, ark, dove, ladder, beehive; anchor, moon and stars, key and 47th problem of Euclid. Numerous other symbols and various initials appear on apron. On flap is highly designed All-Seeing Eye. At bottom of apron is signed in blue watercolor "Joppa R." Reverse of flap is written: "W. Hobson". Linen backing.
