Independent Order of Odd Fellows apron. Shield-shaped body with sawtooth flap. White silk with pleated red silk ribbon trim. Painted on the flap are an hourglass, an all-seeing eye and a globe. Painted on the body are an axe, a dove with a sprig, a beehive, a scepter, a bow with three arrows, a staff with serpent, a heart in hand emblem and a three-link chain with "IOF" inside the links. Lined with peach silk. Handwritten in ink on the back in an upper corner is "S. James." The top edge is bound with red silk ribbon, which extends to form ties.
