Masonic Master Mason apron. Rounded body and shield-shaped flap. White with black hand-drawn decoration. All-seeing eye on flap. On body are three steps, each covered with a mosaic pavement. At top center of steps is an altar with a bible open to Kings Chap. VII and a square and compasses on top. A plumb and level flank the altar. Above this is a beehive and bees (seven), crossed quills, a crossed sword and key, a trowel, a maul and a square and compasses. Above the tools is an allegorical figure of Charity with three children. At top is a sun and a moon with seven stars. At each side is a column, one is topped with a figure of Faith with a Christian cross, the other with a figure of Hope with an anchor. There is a banner around each column. One reads "Vide Aude Tace." The other reads "Sit Lux et Lux Fuit." Bound with white silk. Flap is unlined; body is lined with white cotton.
