Black letter codes on the sides of the triangle. Red Maltese cross inside the triangle. Printed on the body is a yellow quadrant arc and compasses with a red crown at top. Inside the compasses are a Christian cross with a rose and a blue banner at top. Under the cross is a white mother pelican pecking her breast to draw blood to feed her seven children in her nest. At bottom center is a red bow tying together a ladder, a spear, a wreath and acacia. Each ribbon has tools along its length - crossed swords, crossed mallet and chisel, urn, crossed dagger and bone, and others. The flap is lined with black silk.
