This letter from Grand Master Edward A. Raymond of the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts summons Columbian Lodge, as well as all lodges in the state of Massachusetts, to elect a delegate to convene with the Permanent Members of the Grand Lodge on February 7, 1849. The purpose of this convention was the creation and adoption of a uniform system of “Work and Lectures” for all Massachusetts state lodges. Forms part of the Columbian Lodge Records Collection.
