Pair of Masonic Chairs; dark brown base with stencilling in gold and bronze powders; center spat has stencilled square and compasses, flourishes, urn and "Made by M. L. Gates/ Boston"; stencilled bell flowers on uprights; rail has central design of fruit with stylized leaf and vine; gold free-hand banding on edge/ legs; cane seat (possibly original).
