Brown thermoplastic case with molded design of Masonic pillars, arch, eye, square, compasses and "G" in relief; inside has tintype with image of unidentified man wearing collar and apron; attached opposite side is small button size tintype showing image of George Washington.

With his direct gaze and upright posture, the man in this portrait projects confidence. His embroidered and be-fringed apron bears the number of his Odd Fellows lodge and the emblem of his office—two crossed keys. This symbol indicated he was the treasurer of lodge number 355.
