Three-quarter length portrait of seated unidentified man wearing dark coat, white shirt, light pants with a windowpane pattern, and a fraternal collar and apron. Collar has both a floral design and fringe. Fringed apron shows a dove encircled by an open wreath. Man is seated on a fringed chair. Printed on the back in black is "Photographed / by / J.L. Eck, / "Excelsior" / Traveling Artist." Written in pencil on the back is "9-1."
