Image shows a 3/4-length portrait of a man in a Knights Templar uniform with sash, sword, scabbard, and chapeau-de-bras. The man has a mustache. His right arm holds the chapeau and rests on a wicker chair. The photograph is mounted on a white card with ornate embossed frame. On the bottom of the card is embossed studio name and location. It reads " Blackshear B Cotton Ave. / Macon, GA." On the reverse in pencil it reads "Geo Shurnell / My Dad."
