Black and white Masonic Knights Templar carte-de-visite photograph. Three-quarter length portrait of man with beard and mustache standing and wearing a black frock coat, white shirt, and Knights Templar gauntlets, sash or baldric, belt, and chapeau-de-bras. The gauntlets are white, with a cross on each. The sash is black, with a white border, a nine-pointed star, and a rosette or star clasp. The belt is black, with a rectangular buckle that has a cross design in it. The chapeau-de-bras is black, with a cross emblem on the side, and black and white feathers. The man carries a sword on the left side of his belt, and has a dirk suspended from the endpoint of his sash. Printed in black below the photograph is the text "Negatives Preserved." The back of the CDV is blank.
