Sepia-toned Masonic Knights Templar carte-de-visite photograph. Full length portrait of a bearded man standing. He is wearing a black frock coat and pants, dark shoes, a white shirt, black bow tie, and Knights Templar apron, sash or baldric, sword belt, and gauntlets. His apron is triangular. It is black, with a white border, crossed swords on the flap, and a skull and crossbones on the body. His sash is also black with a white border; it has a Maltese cross and a seven(?)-pointed star on it, plus a rosette on the shoulder. His sword belt is black, with a rectangular buckle; a sword hangs from the belt at the man's left side. His gauntlets are white, with a cross visible on the cuff of the left gauntlet. His right arm is crossed over his chest, and he is holding a chapeau-de-bras in that hand. The chapeau-de-bras is black, with black stripes and feathers. Printed in black on the back is "Cartes de Visite / H.J. Reed / Artist / Cor. Main & Front Sts. / Worcester / Mass."
