Masonic carte-de-visite photograph of a print or painting. Full length portrait of a man, identifiable as George Washington. He is wearing a black cloak, breeches and stockings, black shoes with buckles, white frilled shirt, Masonic collar and apron, and Master's jewel (square) around his neck. Collar and apron are both white; apron has all-seeing eye, and mosaic pavement with columns. In his right hand, Washington holds a book titled "Ancient Masonic Constitutions"; in his left hand, he holds a gavel on top of a column. To his left is a chair with a square and compasses finial on the back, and a "G" directly below it; behind it is a column.
