Full length portrait of unidentified man wearing a dark coat and pants, black vest, white shirt, black bow tie, black shoes, white Masonic apron, and red and gold Masonic sash. The apron has an illegible blue design on the flap. The man is resting his right hand on a fluted, column-like pedestal that has a gray fringed curtain draped over it. The photograph is enclosed by a single red line. Printed in black on the back is "Wilkie, / photographer, / No. 165 Eighth Ave., / Between 18th and 19th Streets. / New York."
