Harry Croswell Webster was born in 1804 in New York state. He married Jane D. Haight on September 7, 1825, in Pittsford, New York. The couple moved to Indiana in 1835, eventually settling in South Bend. They had thirteen children together. Harry was a farmer. He belonged to St. Joseph Lodge No. 45 in South Bend. He died in 1885.
