The man in the foreground wears a parka, boots, and mittens, and is touching the front dog with his left hand. There are four dogs in front of the sled. There is a second man to the left of the rearmost dog and a third man behind the sled. In back of the third man, there are white tents. There are also two white tents behind the man closest to the camera. One of these tents is partly open, and there are three more men in front of it. The ground is covered with snow. There are evergreen trees and mountains in the background.
