Painted silk, Masonic Master Mason apron with rounded body and rounded false flap; gold and bronze; black and white checkered pavement; all-seeing eye on flap; J and B columns with globes, three lights, Bible, sword, sun, trowel and gavel; square, compasses and "G"; winged hourglass, beehive at left; square, level and plumb, ark and anchor at right; light blue pleated silk trim and gold cotton fringe; maker's stamp on reverse.

Newly widowed Ann Sisco (1814-1888) took over her husband’s fancy trimming business in 1846. She advertised that she would continue to manufacture all kinds of regalia “suitable and appropriate to the different orders.” It is likely that Sisco had assisted her husband with making regalia so had exposure to the business and clientele. With five young children to support, she also needed to earn a living. For further information, see Newell, Aimee E., "The Badge of a Freemason," 2015, p. 163-164.
