Sepia-toned Masonic carte-de-visite photograph. Full length portrait of unidentified man standing and wearing a coat, pants, and shoes, along with a white apron and collar. Both the apron and the collar have fringe along their bottom edges. The man is resting his left hand on a chair with a back cushion; most of the chair is cut off in this image. Printed on the back in pencil is "E458." Printed on the back in black ink is "Thos. Cummings / Photographer / North Queen St. / Lancaster, PA / Negative No." Directly to the right of the words "Negative No.", the number "16931" is written in pencil. Also on the back of the carte-de-visite is a blue two-cent postage stamp with a portrait of George Washington and the words "U.S. Inter. Rev. / Two / Cents / Proprietary."
