Washington as a Freemason lithograph; scene shows George Washington as Master Mason, wearing Masonic apron, standing beneath arch; motifs include portraits of Lafayette, "An Order Whose Leading Star is Philanthropy", Jackson, "Past Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Tennessee"; reads at top in part "WASHINGTON AS A FREEMASON/ WASHINGTON'S APPEARANCE IN A MASONIC PROCESSION IN..."; one vignette in each corner of object, one of six men meeting on a road, second image of father time with broken column, third image of Jacob's ladder, fourth image of nine men on hill with tree; symbols include Bible with square and compasses, Euclid's theorem, plumb, level, book open with circle; under central design reads "MADE A MASON. 1752./ COMMANDER OF THE AMERICAN ARMY, 1775./ PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, 1789./ Published by Payne & Holden, Dayton, O./ Entered according to Act of Congress on the 4th day of August 1865 by J.
